About the speakers:

Georgie Friedman’s videos, photographs and video-installations consider the psychological and physical relationships individuals have to various uncontrollable natural forces. She creates new experiential spaces for viewers to inhabit that highlight our tenuous interconnections to the various elements and our relationships to built, natural and digital environments. Her art will be on view at “Brink V1” at the Mills Gallery at the Boston Center for the Arts from Feb. 13 to - April 13; “Boston Does Boston 7,” at Proof Gallery in South Boston from Jan. 18 to March 1; and “Art on the Marquee, Round 8,” at the Mass Convention Center in South Boston from Jan 23 through spring 2014.

Clint Baclawski combines a technical photographic practice and the playful relationship one can have with the work as an object, the space, and the viewer. His latest series “lightness” will be on view in two solo exhibitions “Chromogenic” at The Hallway Gallery in Boston through Feb. 22 and “The Studio” at Frame 301 Gallery at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly through Feb. 22.
